OVERVIEW

Safari World (Bangkok) must not be confused with Safari Park Open Zoo (Kanchanaburi), which is a similar style of zoo located at Kanchanaburi, around 3 hours drive from Bangkok. I will write more about Safari Park Open Zoo (Kanchanaburi) later on, but as such, Safari World in Bangkok is a more visited and famous zoo. Although for the purposes of our project, it is yet to be determined which area is more appropriate to our requirements.

To make matters more confusing, Safari World (Bangkok) also contains a smaller, open-zoo, safari-style park called Safari Park, which although sounds the same as Safari Park Open Zoo at Kanchanaburi, they are two different places. Safari World also contains Marine World, which is a mixture of a conventional zoo, a theme park, some animal shows, and some other attractions.

This survey, however, focuses on the geographical and wildlife diversity aspect of Safari World, as well as to provide better visualization of the park layout, the animal areas, enclosures, and surroundings. There is a mixture of 360 images, videos, and stills.

PARK LAYOUT

This is an Illustrated Overview Map of the park, along with some markers for the animal species housed at the park, followed by a Google Map/Satellite Imagery overlay map. This survey covers almost all of the areas here, with specific GPS markers or location tags embedded within the images and our own customized Google Map.
