OVERVIEW

Thap Lan National Park is located next to Khao Yai, with the two forest areas directly connected. There is a new highway tunnel built underneath the land bridge between the two forests, therefore the wildlife in both national parks can roam about unimpeded. The park offices area are quite small, and there are much fewer tourists coming here to this park, therefore there are relatively more wildlife populations here.

The officials at this park seemed to by much more cooperative and willing to share information and assist in our query.

ACCOMMODATION AREA

There is no accommodation available inside the park, therefore we will have to lodge in one of the places outside of the park.
